Efeitos do treinamento aeróbico sobre a leptina em obesos: revisão integrativa
Resumo
A obesidade está relacionada ao acúmulo excessivo de gordura corporal e à resistência à leptina, um hormônio que regula o apetite e o equilíbrio energético. O treinamento aeróbico é uma estratégia eficaz para combater a obesidade, pois, pode melhorar a função da leptina, ajudando a controlar o apetite e favorecer a perda de peso. Além disso, o exercício aeróbico aumenta os níveis de adiponectina, melhorando o metabolismo e o controle de peso. Objetivo: Investigar os efeitos do treinamento aeróbico sobre os níveis de leptina em indivíduos obesos. Metodologia: Para isso, foi realizada uma busca avançada nas bases de dados da Pubmed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library e Lilacs. Resultados: Foram encontrados 390 artigos, sendo excluídos 193 por serem duplicados. Ao final, 10 foram selecionados por atenderem aos critérios de elegibilidade. Os níveis de leptina sérica foram reduzidos em obesos que praticaram o treinamento aeróbico em 9 estudos (90%). Conclusão: O treinamento aeróbico promove a redução dos níveis de leptina em indivíduos obesos, associando esse efeito à regulação do peso e resistência à insulina. Além da perda de gordura corporal, a duração e intensidade do treino aeróbico são fatores importantes. A combinação de exercícios aeróbicos com treinamento resistido e intervenções dietéticas mostrou-se mais eficaz na diminuição da leptina do que o exercício isolado.
